Paro dzong, Festival musicians, Bhutan
Looking for a very special place to visit? The kingdom of Bhutan is wedged in between Tibet, Nepal and India. A small country full of amazing customs and stunning views, Si Fang Managing Director Denis Pagé will be leading a special departure to Bhutan in May 2011 to photograph and explore a country he last saw in 2006. The departure is limited to 10 travelers, preferably friends or family and will include the Ura Yakchoe religious festival in Bumthang for 3 days plus some walks in nearby local villages and exclusive events along the way. May in Bhutan may be a bit more cloudy, however this is the ideal time for blooming wildflowers and a less touristy season. The itinerary includes stays in Thimpu the capital, Paro valley with the superb Tiger’s Nest walk through rhododendron forest, Punakha and it’s incredible fortress.
